Food is pervasive in my life. So many of my relationships are navigated through meals. So much of my identity is dependent on taste.

I’m the family cook and the hostess. I’m a food writer and a former restaurant manager.

The recipes you will find here incorporate ingredients and techniques that build kitchen confidence and explore world cuisine without fusion.

My focus is on savoury, seasonal cuisine dotted with indulgences. This is my everyday food. I’m a huge health nut, and all of my recipes put as much weight on nutrition as they do flavour.

Outside the kitchen, I work as a journalist and food marketing professional.
